I’d love to help protect and support you through effective cyber security.

My core focus is to help busy small and medium sized businesses stay safe online, preventing data from being misused, lost, stolen or ransomed.

I am an experienced management consultant with a Master of Science degree in Information Technology and over 30 years of working at the highest levels of cyber security within government and private organisations in the UK and abroad.

Whilst technically skilled in cyber and cryptographic security, I also bring leadership, project management, customer service, strategic planning, and business development to the fore when guiding client programmes or projects.

I look to build long-term relationships as a dependable cyber security partner, acting as an information security officer for ongoing safe data management at a time when businesses of all sizes need it most.

Thank you for reading.

PPITF – The JE2 complete approach to data security

PPITF stands for People, Process, Infrastructure, Technology, Facilities. These describe the core areas that need to be assessed to build a complete and effective data security mechanism.

The examination of a corporate recruitment, onboarding, training, management and exit process for an organisation’s most important asset – its people.

The policies, procedures and processes outlined to identify who is responsible for what, when and how.

Infrastructure is the glue that connects an organisations people, things, places and services that are used to operate and deliver the overall business vision or services.

The procurement, set-up, use, and disposal of the technological elements of an organisation, including but not limited to IT, wiring, WiFi and telephony.

The ‘things’ and physical place(s) that people have provided to them to allow them to work and deliver business vision or mission.

How it works

With regards to fees, you decide what level of cyber security support best suits your business. JE2 can offer individual project support or you can agree a contracted retainer for ongoing cyber security support at a level that suits you.

With flexible support options, it’s a simple process to start working together. Below are some of the more common support options.

Gap analysis

We can start with a basic hygiene consultation to identify and remedy any critical and dangerous gaps in your cyber security.

Specific projects or goals

You may have a specific challenge or project in mind, or you may wish to achieve certification to meet legal compliance or support your tendering efforts for new business.

On-call expert

You may require an on-call cyber security specialist to offer consistent support across your business.

Hugh Koch Associates, Cheltenham

“With Neil’s help we have been able to shine some bright lights into dark corners and make us feel better about the security of our data and the safety of our company.
We are now progressing toward IASME and Cyber Essentials with Neil’s support and would recommend him without hesitation.”

Lyn Niblett Bookkeeping, Stroud

“With Neil’s help and advice, we have been able to focus on running our business whilst being confident in the knowledge that our data security and necessary legal requirements relating to GDPR have been covered.
We are so glad we chose to use JE2 Limited, who assisted us in a very professional and helpful manner and we would recommend them to anyone looking for data security support.”

SDMS UK Limited, Shrivenham

“Neil’s expert knowledge in the fields of cyber security, GDPR and business continuity are complimented by his consummate leadership and management skills.
I would recommend Neil to help any business to achieve their GDPR or cyber security and business continuity aspirations but also from a management consultancy perspective. Neil was able to lead and assist senior and middle management as well as the wider workforce to achieve cyber security harmony in the workplace.”

MD Mainstream Digital, Cirencester

“Mainstream Digital employed JE2 to implement, get us ready for and help us through the audits for certification to ISO 22301, 27001 and IASME. We achieved all three in a period of 2 years which has allowed a company of 30+ employees to bid for, and win, significant international and national contracts and thus promoted corporate growth.
We would not have been able to achieve this without superb support from Neil who guided us through what we needed to do and provided expert senior and junior management advice and guidance as well as technical expertise. I would fully recommend Neil for helping to achieve any security goals as well as management guidance.”

IT Service Provider

Neil has just got what it takes to turn the complex and confusing Cyber Security world into a supporting element of your business.
He took the time to find out about our business, what we wanted to achieve and then ‘just got on with it’ and we are now able to provide cyber security services in our portfolio seemingly overnight.”
